“A Heart Of Ice. A Will Of Steel. Meet The Assassin.”

In the slave labour camp of Endovier, a young assassin is trapped there and has been for some time now. Beautiful Celanea Sardothien is deadly and destined for a great many things, and her fate changes when the young captain of the guard Chaol Westfall offers her a deal, one that gives her her freedom back in exchange for four years of service to the king as his champion. Celaena now has to fight in a tournament to the death ย against the most brutal assassins and thieves of the kingdoms underbelly and come out on top. This shouldn’t be a problem, but her feelings towards the captain and prince Dorian may be her undoing.

For those who would prefer a little more action and a killer (literally) main character, this book does assassins everywhere justice.Just like a Court of Thorns and Roses, it’s the small details that make these books as amazing as they are, to have a map of the surrounding lands at the front of each book helps in your minds eye track to and from the places you discover throughout.Celaena is cheeky, funny and downright bad ass which makes you instantly have a soft spot for her , as well as Chaol and Dorian and wanting more of the possibly budding romances between them, is this the start to a love triangle?, who knows!. It’s safe to assume that I absolutely adore this series and cannot recomend them enough, infact I might have to even buy new copies where I have ruined mine from reading so much :(. Sarah has done it again again flawless book.
