Destroyed Books

If there is one thing I hate it’s having a crease in a book, or a page that’s been folded over in the corner as a bookmark. I’m sorry it’s a pet hate, use a pretty bookmark!. I’m a slight klutz, sometimes so not all of my books are in perfect condition but one has been mauled and not my by own set of butterfingers.FullSizeRender (11)

A couple of years ago I was reading Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen and was only a few pages away from the end. I had to get to college and left it on the coffee table assuming it was safe in the paws of our furry body guard. I had a great day and came back to my younger sister chewing her lip and furrowing her brow. It turns out that while I was out the dog had decided to eat my book. Yep he was pooping words for days, not only did decided to have a quick nibble , but on the last three pages, he left but only a few sentences, I to this ย have no idea what happened to the end of the book. One day I will have to buy a new copy, to make up for my one.ย FullSizeRender (12)

Anyone have a story on how a book of yours got ripped or torn?, let me know in the comments below I need some reassurance and it’s not just my dog who decided to eat the words.
